The BlackBerry Z10 has serious ambitions to become the business phone, but there’s one major requirement – it should be able to last during long hours spent at the office or traveling between meetings.
With a 1,800mAh capacity the Z10 battery isn’t the biggest around, but it has an OS designed just for it at the moment (unlike Android that runs on many different devices with many different chipsets).
The BlackBerry Z10 goes from a full battery to flat in about 8 hours 20 minutes of talk time. That makes it average when compared to Android phones, but it’s just 20 minutes shy of the iPhone 5 time (the Apple phone has a smaller battery though), so it does well enough here.

Next up is web browsing – BlackBerry OS 10 has an advanced web browser, that beats all other browsers in terms of HTML5 compatibility (even desktop browsers) and has full Flash support. That browser drained the battery is a hair under 6 and a half hours. That’s how much you’d get out of a Jelly Bean-running Samsung Galaxy S III, but well behind the iPhone 5′s time of 10 hours. Note that our web tests don’t include Flash.

Bb10 Battery Life Reviews
The BlackBerry Z10 gets an endurance rating of 46 hours, meaning that’s how long you can go between charges if you do an hour each of calling, browsing and watching videos. That should be enough for two full days of usage, or one full day for heavier usage.
Bb10 Battery Life Battery
That comes within 5 hours of the Apple iPhone 5 endurance rating, but the Z10 has something the iPhone doesn’t – an easy to swap out battery. Even with just one battery the BlackBerry Z10 has good battery life, especially if you don’t spend too much time on the web.
